Got Peace?

Are you wondering how you are going to pay the bills? Are you upset about a recent doctor’s report? Are you unsettled wondering if this sickness is curable or if you are going to die? Intimidated? Are you afraid that you are going to lose your:

Job
boyfriend/girlfriend/friend
husband/wife/
retirement, savings, home, car
and the list goes on…

Do you fear that you are going to have the same illness your mom or dad had? Do you feel like you just are not enough? Do you feel like you’ve gone too far and it’s too late for you? Do you feel unloved or unlovable? Do you have a decision to make that seems like a lose-lose decision…like there is no way to win? Are you agitated today? Fretful? Troubled? Afraid? Fearful? Disturbed?

You may be facing some of these problems and many others. The enemy of your soul works diligently to steal your peace. John 10:10 states:

¹⁰The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it ^[a]overflows).

I have the remedy for you!

The good news is Jesus came that you may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)! Did you know that you don’t even have to muster up your own peace?

Jesus said in John 14:27 that He has left you His own peace. You just have to receive Jesus’ peace!

²⁷Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

Jesus never asks us to do anything that he doesn’t empower us to do. We just have to believe what His Word says and receive it. After all God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19)! God is Truth!

If you don’t believe God’s Word is Truth, than you are calling God and His Word a liar. In order to receive from God, you must believe that His Word is the Truth. Once you believe God’s Word is Truth, you simply receive His Peace.

When you work with God it is like playing a chess game. He makes a move and then the next move is yours. God’s already moved…He has provided His own peace for you. Your move is to receive His peace and stop allowing yourself to be agitated and disturbed; to stop permitting yourself to be fearful, intimidated, cowardly and unsettled

With God nothing is impossible!

This prayer is for you. Fill your name in the blank:

Heavenly Father,

In the Name of Jesus I command the spirit of worry, torment, fear, unrest, uneasiness, dread and agitation to leave ________ right now. I apply the blood of Jesus over ________. I speak, “Peace be still” to the storms in ________ life. I release Jesus’ own peace into _________ heart right now.
