FORGET NOT GOD’S BENEFITS – DAY 18
GOD IS FAITHFUL WHO IS CALLING YOU!
It is hard to believe that it has been ten days since I’ve blogged. I was up to 47 days of straight blogging as directed by God. What stopped me? I had a gallbladder attack and it took eight days before I was completely over it. I had a set-back, but it could not finish me off!
The enemy wanted to stop me from fulfilling my destiny. The enemy didn’t want me to reach out to you and bring the Word of God to you. I win in the Name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior of whose I am and of whom I serve!!!
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).
24 Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].
The last time I had a gallbladder attack was nine years ago and it only lasted three days. I say “only”, but if you’ve ever had a really bad gallbladder attack you know that you can easily find yourself rolling around on the floor in pain. It is no picnic! I can honestly say I get why people say, “Do whatever it takes! Just stop the pain!” I have to admit it was a fleeting temptation to give in and go to the emergency room several times.
God’s Word says that I was healed over 2,000 years ago by the stripes and wounds that Jesus took for my healing and wholeness! What was my alternative to standing on God’s Word? Get my gallbladder taken out, which is not even a good option. Why? I cannot tell you how many people I have spoken with who had their gallbladders removed, but still have nasty digestive issues.
I have heard several testimonies of people who had the experience of going to heaven and saw a room full of body parts that people had not claimed. I decided that rather than stand on God’s Word for a healed gallbladder, I would stand on God’s Word for a new gallbladder! I can honestly say that I fought the good fight of faith and praise God I am here without pain and with what I believe is a new gallbladder. God is so faithful to me!
In the “Forget Not God’s Benefits” series, we are endeavoring to find all of the benefits God has for us. Psalms 103:2 tells us to “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—”. Why? So that we can partake and enjoy all of God’s benefits which He so lavishly provides!
Today’s benefit is God is Faithful Who is calling you!
You’ve had a set-back and it could not finish you off! Divorce couldn’t finish you off! Sickness couldn’t finish you off? Betrayal couldn’t finish you off!
THE FORCES THAT ARE FOR YOU ARE GREATER THAN THE FORCES THAT ARE AGAINST YOU!

- Remember the Red Seas God has parted for you today!
- Remember the time God delivered you from terminal sickness.
- Remember the time God provided the finances you needed.
- Remember the time God protected you in the car crash/accident.
- Remember you have a history with God.
You need to announce to that cancer, that sickness, that disappointment, that financial problem, “You can’t finish me off”. God controls the number of my days”
The enemy cannot finish you off! God has the final say-so! You are going to fulfill your destiny!
When the negative thoughts come – this sickness is going to finish you off. Your car/house is going to be repossessed. You will never get out of debt. Remember that satan is a liar and the father of lies. Whatever satan says to you, you know it is a lie. The opposite of what he says is truth!
This means that the truth is – the sickness is healed in Jesus Name and cannot finish you off! The truth is your car/house will not be repossessed! The truth is you will be debt free in Jesus Name! You can boldly and truthfully say, “You don’t know who you are dealing with! Jesus is the author and the finisher of my faith! The Greater One lives inside of me! I WIN IN JESUS NAME!”
GOD IS FAITHFUL!!!
It is time to read our passage out loud and to meditate on it. I am anticipating great and awesome end results! I am looking forward to hearing from you! READY? READ.
