Forget Not God’s Benefits – Day Ten
CAST YOUR CARE ON HIM!

We are endeavoring to find all of God’s benefits for us so that we can obey and enjoy Psalms 103:2 which tells us to “Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—”.
Today we are going to look at God’s benefit of casting all our care on Him. I cannot tell you how many ways God spoke to me about sharing this word with you. I even received a Facebook message from a friend about how God was sharing the following verse with her.

7 Casting the [a]whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, [b]once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you [c]watchfully
I cannot control everything that is going on around me and neither can you. But we are in control of what gets into us! Christ is in us, the hope of glory! Jesus is Lord!
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Resurrection Life is in me!
The same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and me! Not only that, the Holy Spirit is continually restoring to life my mortal body! I am going to live long and live strong! How about you?

11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

The Joy of the Lord is in me!
We live in a loud, rude and crude world. Life can get really hard at times. We are not to be conformed to this world! We are to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. We are supposed to cast down imaginations! We are supposed to walk in the joy of the Lord!
Let’s say you make your mind up to cast your care upon God and not give an entrance to satan. What happens next? Satan will send one of his little imps to you saying, “What are you going to do about this? What are you going to do about that? What are you going to do about this? What are you going to do about that?” They will keep pestering you over and over and over again.
Why? Because satan is looking for an entrance into your life. He’s waiting for you to open your mouth and say, “What am I going to do about this? What am I going to do about that?” Don’t do it! Just as you cast your cares on Jesus, you need to cast satan’s thoughts down
How do you do that? I’m glad you asked. Say out loud, “This is not my thought!” Instead of saying, “What am I going to do about this? What am I going to do about that?” begin to say, “I cast all my care on Jesus! Faith is Trust! Trust is rest. I am resting and I am resting right now!”
Praise God for the provision you need. Don’t even entertain the thought, “What if the money/healing/job doesn’t come? God tells us in Philippians 4:19 that He will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus! Notice God said he WILL liberally supply, not that He might!
To cast your care on God and then question whether or not the money/healing/job will come is not only taking the care back, it is a thought against God’s Word. God is not a man that He should lie! Satan on the other hand is not only a liar, but the father of lies! Whatever the enemy is saying to you is a lie!
We need to quit yielding to worry, anger, frustration and fretting. We should be able to rest right now, before the money/healing /job or whatever else you need comes. The thoughts against God’s Word are basically calling God a liar.
THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY FOR GOD NOT TO BE FAITHFUL!
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE!
So rejoice for your steps are directed and established by GOD WHEN we delight ourselves in God’s ways! We delight ourselves in God’s way when we cast all our cares upon Him and leave them there. We delight ourselves in God’s way when we trust Him! What an awesome benefit and blessing!

CHALLENGE: Read Psalms 103:1-5 out loud and meditate on it daily.

5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!
