THE “FORGET NOT HIS BENEFITS” SPIRITUAL CHALLENGE: Read Psalms 103:1-5 out loud and meditate on it daily.

Psalm 103
[A Psalm] of David.

1 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—
3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy;

5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!

We are endeavoring to find out if we can exhaust the subject of Psalm 103:1-5 by finding and forgetting not all of God’s benefits. I am pretty sure it would take a lifetime. We will keep on going until we exhaust the subject or God says it is time to stop.

Psalm 91:16.

“With a long life I will satisfy him

  1. And I will let him see My salvation.”

Yesterday we discussed the fact that God intends for us to live to be 120 years old with perfect health or until we are satisfied. The 70 year lifespan to 80 years old, if we have the strength, was for the disobedient children of Israel.

In addition to God blessing us with a satisfied long life, one of God’s blessings for you is for you to see God’s salvation while you are experiencing your long and satisfying life!

Psalms 91:16b says “And I will let him see My salvation.” “Let him see” in Psalm 91:16 means to show, to stand up boldly opposite! To stand up boldly opposite of whatever is coming against you!

“Salvation” means

  • Shalom
  • Nothing missing and nothing broken
  • Wholeness
  • Peace
  • Prosperity

According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, shalom means “completeness, soundness, welfare, peace.” It sometimes can be translated as “success”.

REMEMBER JESUS IS IN THE BOAT WITH YOU!

God has already provided everything we need for life and godliness! All of God’s promises are “Yes and Amen”! Allow God to let you see His salvation on your behalf today!

As I write this blog I hear the Holy Spirit saying that there are those of you who are facing serious court battles. Some of you are facing serious court battles that involve children and loved ones. God would say to you, stand still and see the “salvation” of the Lord. He will give you course corrections. Be still. Listen. Obey. Remember Jesus is in the boat with you.

Mark 4:39King James Version (KJV)

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
